Teeth whitening
Your whitening is done at home, with custom trays and a special whitening gel. Used correctly, your teeth lighten gradually over a few days.
How to use the trays
- Wear the trays at night, as the last thing you do before going to sleep.
- Put a small amount of gel inside the trays, exactly as we showed you — a little is enough.
- Do not wear the trays while you are up and about the house; after a while you will start to salivate. They are for sleeping.
- In the morning, take the trays out, rinse your mouth, and clean the trays with cold water. Keep them in their case.
- Continue for as many days as we told you.
Sensitivity
- It is completely normal to feel some sensitivity in your teeth during whitening — it is nothing to worry about.
- It is usually temporary and settles on its own. A toothpaste for sensitive teeth helps, and you can start it a few days beforehand.
- If the sensitivity bothers you, you can leave a gap of a day or two between applications.
When to call us
- If the sensitivity becomes so strong that you cannot tolerate it.
- Gum discomfort or irritation that persists.
