General & preventive dentistry

Everyday care, done properly

The routine work — examinations, cleaning, fillings and the management of decay and gum disease — is the foundation of everything else. Done consistently, it is the most effective dentistry there is.

We look after the everyday dental health of our patients, from regular check-ups to treating problems as they arise. The same digital tools and the same standard of care apply whether a visit is a simple one or part of a larger plan.

Our aim in routine care is to keep your own teeth healthy and functioning for as long as possible — to prevent problems where we can, and to treat them conservatively when they appear.

What we cover

01

Examinations & preventive care

A thorough clinical examination, with imaging where needed, to find problems early — when they are simpler, more comfortable and less costly to treat. We advise on what to watch and how to care for your teeth at home.

02

Professional cleaning & gum health

Removal of plaque and tartar (scaling), and treatment of gum inflammation and periodontal disease. Healthy gums are the foundation of healthy teeth and of any future restorative work.

03

Fillings & tooth-coloured restorations

Treatment of decay with durable, tooth-coloured composite, restoring the tooth’s shape and function while removing as little healthy structure as possible.

04

Crowns & restoring damaged teeth

Where a tooth is too broken or worn for a filling, we restore it — most often with monolithic zirconia — to bring back its strength and form.

05

Extractions

When a tooth cannot be saved, removal is carried out carefully, planned with three-dimensional imaging where appropriate, and with attention to preserving the bone for any future implant or bridge.

If a problem needs specialist treatment — a root canal under the microscope, or an implant — it is planned and carried out in the same practice, by the same team.
